SOLD OUT. Thriving not surviving in 2024: focus, boundaries and priorities for content people

A woman trying to fix everything everywhere all at once, surrounded by chaos

Be more intentional with your time and energy in 2024. Join me on January 15th to find out how narrowing your focus can deepen your impact, by embracing limitations, setting boundaries, and focusing on collaboration.

What to expect

Do you ever feel like it’s your job to fix everything, everywhere, all at once? Overwhelmed by the impact of the pandemic, the climate emergency, widening inequality? Wondering what the point is when everything’s so broken?

Content is a powerful force for good, but it’s not the answer to every problem, and it’s not your job to fix it all.

In this session, we’ll explore ways to thrive, not just survive, the everything, everywhere, all at once of content. We’ll look at how narrowing your focus can deepen your impact, by embracing limitations, setting boundaries, and focusing on collaboration.

In this session, you will get:

  • An opportunity to think about whether you could do more by doing less
  • A framework to help you work out where you can have the most impact
  • Time to put the framework into practice and think about where you want to focus
  • A worksheet of prioritisation methods to keep and use again

The session will be recorded and I’ll send you a link afterwards.

This is for you if you…

  • ...are a content person: content strategist, content designer, content producer, UX writer, and more
  • ...are feeling overwhelmed by all the things you should/could do
  • ...want to take a step back and spend some time looking at the bigger picture
  • ...lead a team and want to check in on whether you're focusing on the right things
  • ...have a project coming up and want to get realistic about what you can achieve
  • ...are a team of one, doing way too much and want to cut back

Equity tickets

If you’re disadvantaged because of your race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, something else, or if you’re in financial hardship, you can pay what you feel (or nothing at all). Email me at lauren@lapope.com to access this. You don’t need to explain yourself — I trust you. Just let me know how much you want to pay (if anything) and I’ll send you a payment link/a ticket.
