When you’re leading a content team, it can be hard to see the full picture
Most content leaders know something isn’t quite working before they can name exactly what it is. The team is busy, but progress feels slow. You know there are gaps, but it’s hard to separate what feels urgent from what’s actually important. You want to move forward, but you’re not sure what ‘forward’ looks like from where you are.
Capability benchmarking gives you a way to step back and look clearly at what your team is set up to do well — and what it isn’t. Not to judge the team, or to produce a neat score you can wave at leadership, but to see the real shape of your situation and make more deliberate decisions about where to invest your energy.
This assessment covers five areas of content capability: team and structure, strategy and planning, content operations, production and quality, and measurement. It takes 10–15 minutes and gives you a score in each area, so you come away with a profile rather than a single number — which is much more useful.
What the assessment gives you
Capability scores across five areas, so you can see where you’re strong and where the gaps are
A clear framework for thinking about what ‘good’ looks like at different levels of capability
A starting point for a team conversation, or a useful input into planning
Optional: If you’d like help making sense of your scores and turning them into a clear action plan, you can add on a one-hour review session with me for £150 (inc. VAT).

Want help interpreting your scores and planning how to build your capability?
If you’d like help making sense of your results and turning them into a clear action plan, I’m running one-hour sessions for £150 (inc VAT). We’ll go through your scores together, explore what they mean for your team, and work out where to focus your energy first.
The assessment assessment asks for your email address, but it’s optional. The only reason I ask for an email is so that I can send you a copy of your answers and results.
I won’t share your individual results with anyone. In future, I may publish trends and patterns from the assessment as a whole — but nothing that could identify you or your organisation.
