Why briefs matter

A good brief is the difference between a project that goes smoothly and one that unravels halfway through. It creates shared understanding before work begins — so everyone knows what they’re making, who it’s for, and what success looks like.

The trouble is, briefs are often non-existent, vague, or missing the things content people actually need to know.

This template fixes that. Share it with a project owner to prompt a better brief, or work through it together at the start of a new piece of work.
