I’m writing my weeknotes a day early this week and against the clock (I have to be at the gym in *checks watch* 30 minutes) because I’m taking the day off tomorrow to try and enjoy this ongoing lull.
Somehow, despite having next to no work on, I’ve still been pretty busy this week. I have also picked up a little bit of work this week – a block of coaching sessions and a project in partnership with Beth Granter, which kicks off next week. This is a relief and hopefully a signal that things are getting back on track.
The big focus this week has been getting a new guide to content team capability and content capability assessment tool ready to publish. I’ve been using the same basic content team capability framework since before I started my business. It’s a tool that I use behind the scenes with clients to get an all-round view on their capability and help decide what areas we might need to focus on in their strategy and operations. It was long overdue an update, so I spent some time working on that, and then decided that it could be a good tool to make available to others as well.
I used Tally.so to build it and have been very impressed so far. This is another part of my move away from Google tools. The AI builder saved me hours and hours of set-up time and the Notion-esque interface is great. It’s EU-based and (as far as I can tell) doesn’t have any evil investors. Obligatory affiliate link if you want to try it out.
I’ve also been working on the plan for my AI in charity content research project. I put a big chunk of time into getting an interview discussion guide, survey questions, and project plan ready to go. I’m struggling a bit with recruitment, so if you’re interested in this, I would love to hear from you.
